CollegeHOFID =Kenneth Beatty was the first football, basketball and baseball coach at then East Carolina Teaching College. He was the coach from 1932-1933. He volunteered his time to the teams. The first two years of the football team did not win a single game. He was inducted into the ECU Hall of Fame in 1974.
