"Use Your Illusion" is a Guns N' Roses compilation album that is mixed from the "Use Your Illusion I" & "II" albums, and has only been released in the United States. The tracklist is composed mostly of songs lacking profanity (except for "14 Years"). This was done to allow its sale at Wal-Mart, they do not stock albums with a Parental Advisory sticker, although they have been known to carry the clean versions of such albums.

"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" appears in an edited version, without Josh Richman' speech ("You just better start sniffin' your own rank subjugation jack 'cause it's just you against your tattered libido, the bank and the mortician, forever man and it wouldn't be luck if you could get out of life alive"), removed for unknown reasons. Therefore, track length is reduced to 05:20, instead of 05:36 from the version included in "Use Your Illusion II"
