Cecília Meireles

Cecília Meireles

Cecília Benevides de Carvalho Meireles (1901-1964) was a Brazilian poet, journalist and teacher. She was one of the most famous female poets of Brazil.

Cecília Meireles had three daughters. One of them is the Brazilian actress "Maria Fernanda", who stared many plays and soap operas from the 1970s until the early 1980s.
