Jocelyn Birch Burdick (b. February 6 1922, Fargo, North Dakota) was a Democrat United States Senator briefly during 1992.

Upon the death of her husband, Senator Quentin N. Burdick, Governor George Sinner appointed her to fill the vacancy until a special election was held. She was not a candidate for election to the rest of the term, and retired to Fargo upon the election of Kent Conrad to the office.

She is to date the only woman to have represented North Dakota in the U.S. Senate and the only woman to have served in Congress from North Dakota. She lives in Fargo where she continues to remain active in politics.
