Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999

For the Eurovision Song Contest 1999, Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by "Putnici", performed by Dino & Béatrice. The song received 86 points, finishing 7th.

On March 6, the Bosnian final was held at the Skenderija City Hall in Sarajevo, and was hosted by Segmedina Srna and Lejla Babovic. There were 17 songs in the final, and the winner was decided by regional juries in the following cities: Tuzla, Zenica, Livno, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Goražde, Mostar, Bihac and the German city of Bonn.

On April 16, it was announced that the winning song had been released in 1997 by a Finnish act and was disqualifed, since entering a cover song was (and still is) contrary to the rules. They would later represent the country in 2006.
