Stevie Davies

Stevie Davies is an award-winning Welsh novelist. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Wales, Swansea, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.

She was shortlisted for the 2001 Booker Prize for her novel, "The Element of Water", which went on to win the 2002 Arts Council of Wales Book of the Year award. Her first novel, "Boy Blue", had won the Fawcett Society Book Prize in 1987, and her work has also been shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction. She has also written a biography of the poet, Henry Vaughan.
