Graham Callinan (born 1982) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Glen Rovers and is also a member of the Cork senior inter-county team.

Early life

Graham Callinan was born in Blackpool on the north side of Cork in 1982. He was educated locally and later worked as a plasterer.

Playing career

Club

Callinan plays club hurling with Glen Rovers, one of the most famous clubs of all-time. He also plays Gaelic football with the Glen’s sister club St. Nicholas'. Callinan has won county under-21 medals in both codes.

Inter-county

Callinan first came to prominence in the late 1990s as a member of the Cork minor hurling team. He was a member of the panel when the team won a Munster title in 2000. Callinan later joined the county’s under-21 and senior teams. He was a member of the senior panel that won All-Ireland honours in 2004. He was dropped from the panel in 2005 and 2006 but rejoined the team in 2007.
