Hatfield is a small rural settlement near to the City of Worcester.

Overview

Hatfield is a small Hamlet near Worcester, a typically rural settlement, this Hamlet sits between nearby radial villages; Littleworth, Norton, Pirton & Kempsey. Hatfield boasts a peaceful setting with some charming views of the visible Malvern Hills range, whilst still offering close links to the city of Worcester & junction 7 of the M5 Motorway.

Transport

Hatfield lacks any form of direct public transport. A regular bus service operates through the nearby Village of Littleworth, allowing riders to travel west into Worcester or east into Pershore. Resident motorists can benefit from the proximity of the M5 Motorway, which allows easy North/Southbound travel. The closest options for travelling by train are located in Worcester, (Forgate St. Station) or (Shrubhill Station) & Pershore.

Education

The bordering village of Littleworth houses the Church of England Norton-Juxta-Kempsey First School. This mixed, infant school has expanded rapidly since the 1990's with it's previous total number of pupils of 70+, now being in excess of double this. This expansion in the no. of pupils, arguably, is due to the proliferation of homes in the neighbouring village of Norton & with the construction of new homes in & around Worcester.

ocial

The nearest places of social interest to Hatfield would be the two country pubs which sit between it. 'The Inn' along 'Stonehall Common' & 'The Retreat' pub on the outskirts of Littleworth are the closest two public houses.
Littleworth possess a typical 'Parish Hall', home to children's 'Playgroup' sessions & various evening/weekend clubs.
