Ludborough railway station

Ludborough railway station

Ludborough Station is a railway station in Ludborough, Lincolnshire [British Railways Atlas.1947. p.22] now operated by the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, which hopes eventually to extend the line in both the Grimsby and Louth directions as far as existing trackbed will allow. The LWR are an entirely voluntary organisation operating both steam and heritage diesels on a, currently, short length of track, although most of the existing trackbed is now owned by them and track will eventually be laid when funds allow.
