Ossi is a family name. It is an uncommon Italian surname. It is also found among Catholics and Jews living in Iraq who later emigrated to USA due to the growth of anti-Catholicism and anti-Semitism during the early 20th century. It is believed that the Iraqi Ossi's originated from Italy.
