Luis Swisher (born June 21, 1978) is a Guatemalan football defender who currently plays for Deportivo Jalapa.

Biography

Swisher started his professional career with Aurora FC making his debut with the club in 1997. He joined Polonia Warszawa in June 2005, after several exceptional years in Guatemala. He became the first Guatemalan defender to play in an European league.

Swisher has also been a promising player for the Guatemalan national team at numerous levels, playing all games during the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification (CONCACAF). He was a member of the national squad who competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics Qualifiers. Also played the 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup and 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
