The Duluth Huskies are an amateur baseball team playing in the Northwoods League, a collegiate summer baseball league. They have been operating in Duluth, Minnesota since 2003. The Huskies play their home games at historic Wade Stadium in Duluth, which was built in 1941. The team plays 70 games throughout the summer, 35 at home and 35 on the road. The Huskies fan experience is highlighted by the large inflatable bouncer built in the likeness of Huskies Mascot, Harley D. Huskie that fans young and old can enjoy down the right field line. Also, the Huskies Kennel Klub Sports Deck located down the left field line allows fans a fantastic view of the game, plus All You Can Eat and Drink while on the deck! It is also intimate with the Visitor's Bullpen area, which allows ample opportunity for heckling opposing players. Games for the Duluth Huskies are broadcast on ESPN Radio 560 AM in Duluth, as well as being webcast over the Duluth Huskies website.

Huskies in the Pros

Following the 2007 season, 29 former Huskies have become affiliated with Professional Baseball. Joe Bisenius, who pitched for Duluth in 2003, became the first Duluth Huskies player to appear in the Major Leagues when he pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies on April 5, 2007 against the Atlanta Braves.
