Christian art media

Christian art media differ somewhat between Christian denominations:

Catholic Art

Church architecture, fresco, paintings, stained glass, sculptures, manuscript miniature, wood carvings, plague columns, and many others.

Orthodox Art

Church Architecture, icons, frescoes, mosaics, manuscript miniature, wood carving, and stained glass. Sculptures have been forbidden in recent centuries, although small Byzantine examples are plentiful.

Protestant Art

Church Architecture, printmaking especially book illustrations, painting, and stained glass.
