United International University ( _bn. ইউনাইটেড আন্তর্জাতিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) or (UIU) is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university established in 2003 under the Private University Act. [cite web|last=|title=Private University Act, 1992|url=http://www.sai.uni-heidelberg.de/workgroups/bdlaw/1992-a34.htm|accessdate=2007-06-25] It is established with the support of United group. The University Grants Commission approved the academic program of UIU on 10 October 2003 and the Government permission was granted on 2 June 2003.
