CWBS, acronym for "Collision Warning with Brake Support", is a system of protection against frontal impacts developed by Volvo.
Collision Warning with Brake Support is a system that helps to prevent a collision by using a radar guided system that provides the driver with the information of knowing when their speed is too fast when approaching the rear of another vehicle. A visual and audible warning is given off to alert the driver. This system charges the brakes for maximum brake force to stop a collision from occurring.
