Anne Rogers

Anne Rogers (born 29 July 1933, Liverpool) is an English actress, dancer and singer.

Career

Anne Rogers has been singing and dancing on the stage since she was 15. Her first role was that of Snow White. She was in the original London production of "The Boy Friend", playing the female lead of Polly Browne for nearly four years. She was unable to play in the Broadway production of "The Boy Friend" because of London commitments, but later went to the United States to play Eliza Dolittle in the Hollywood and Chicago productions of "My Fair Lady". After two years, she returned to London to play the same role for a period of three years. Rogers can claim to have appeared in three separate shows, each for over 1,000 performances.
