Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express (Hindi: - मध्य प्रदेश सम्पर्क क्रान्ति एक्सप्रेस Urdu - ماضية برديش سمبارك كرةتي إكسبرس), is one of the trains among Sampark Kranti Express Trains introduced in the 2005 Indian Railway Budget. The train was announced between Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and New Delhi. This train presently terminates at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in New Delhi which is located 8 km approximately to south of New Delhi Railway Station.

Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express, is organized by the West Central Railway (पश्चिम मध्य रेल) (IR Code:-प.म.रे/WCR ) a unit of Indian Railways(भारतीय रेल) and owned by Jabalpur division.

Train Details

The train runs Five Days a week as Super Fast train between Jabalpur & Hazrat Nizamuddin via New Katni Junction and Gwalior. The train plies with out any stop through Uttar Pradesh with Rajasthan (a small portion of Dhaulpur district) and Haryana before reaching or arriving to Hazrat Nizamuddin.

Train uses both Diesel and Electrical Locomotives on its journey.

  1. Jabalpur to Katni and Katni to Jabalpur - WDM3A of Katni Diesel Locomotive.
  2. Katni to H.Nizamuddin and H.Nizamuddin to Katni - WAM4 of Itarsi Electric Shed.

The train changes its direction at Katni Junction on its way.
