Club career

Buzaglo has played for the youth clubs of Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem. In 2002 he went on trial to Juventus and participated in youth tournament. On this tournament he was scouted by Olympique Lyon and signed with French club. After a year he returned to Israel and joined Maccabi Haifa.[1]

Hapoel Petah Tikva

Buzaglo played two matches for Maccabi Haifa, before being loaned out to Hapoel Petah Tikva for the 2006–07 season. In 21 league matches for the club, he scored 5 goals including a hat-trick against Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan in a 3–2 victory.

Bnei Sakhnin

Buzaglo spent the following season, the 2007–08 season on loan at the newly promoted club, Bnei Sakhnin. The club finished 4th in the league and qualify for the opening rounds of the Intertoto Cup. Buzaglo scored 9 goals in the season. This left him as the eighth equal highest goalscorer in the 2007–08 Israeli Premier League. He was named Discovery of the Year at the end of the season.

Maccabi Tel Aviv

On 30 July 2008, he left Maccabi Haifa and signed to a 4-year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, after some long negotiations between Haifa and his father (who is also his agent).[citation needed] At the last game of 2008–09 season Buzaglo tore his Knee Ligaments and was forced to seat out for 7 months. He came back at mid 2009–10 season scoring since then 3 goals and assisting 5 more ensuring his full recovery. Buzaglo finished 2010–11 season with 4 goals. As 2010–11 season ended Buzaglo made an interview to Israeli press criticising the club publicly which alongside with his father's criticism resulted in a misconduct fine and suspension from the club.[citation needed] On June 26th the club owner Mitchell Goldhar announced that Maor Buzaglo is no longer in the team professional plans that he is placed on the transfer list an announcement that attracted interest from town rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv but was denied by his father/agent.[citation needed]

Standard Liège

On 19 August 2011, he signed a 2-years contract with Belgian Standard Liège for a transfer fee of €440,000.[2][3]
