Bayble Island

Bayble Island: Bayble Island (Gaelic "Eilean Phabail") is located in Bayble Bay, on the Eye Peninsula of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It actually consists of two islands, but, from most parts it only looks like a single island. Inhabitants include rats thought to have arrived on the island by shipwreck similar to the Shiant Islands (although this may be folklore). A number of seabirds also exist on the island and can be seen from Upper Bayble and Lower Bayble. Gannets can be seen regularly diving into the waters for food around the island.
