Laflèche was the name of a former city on Montreal's south shore. Today it belongs to the city of Longueuil in the Saint-Hubert borough.
History
Originally called Mackayville, it was established in 1947 at the same time as neighbouring
Ville Jacques-Cartier using a piece of land belonging to the "Saint-Antoine de Longueuil Parish". It changed its name to Laflèche onMarch 5 ,1959 . It later merged into the former city of St. Hubert in October 1971.Mayors

In 2001, the district of Laflèche was estimated to have just under 17,000 people. This makes it around the same size as the neighbouring borough of Greenfield Park.
