Joco Communications

Joco Communications is a small Canadian radio broadcasting company, which currently operates CFSF-FM in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario and CJJM-FM in Espanola.

On February 14, 2003, Joco Communications was given approval by the CRTC to open up its first new radio station to serve the community of Sturgeon Falls. [ [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Decisions/2003/db2003-52.htm Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-52] ]

On July 12, 2007 Joco Communications was denied to open up a new FM radio station in Greater Sudbury. [ [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Decisions/2007/db2007-229.htm Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2007-229] ] However, a week later on July 19, 2007, Joco was approved to open up a new FM radio service in Espanola on 99.3 FM with the new call letters CJJM. The company's name derives from the name of its founder and president, Joseph Cormier.
