Emmanuel Osei (born March 23, 1982) is a Ghanaian football player who can manage any midfield position. He made his footballing debut for home team Hearts of Oak in 2002/2003, moved to Akçaabat Sebatspor for one season and then left for Italy, where he played six matches for A.S. Livorno Calcio. As of summer 2005, Osei was loaned to FCU Politehnica Timişoara, with the Romanian club having an option to buy the Ghanaian player at the end of the season.

Osei was part of the Ghanaian 2004 Olympic football team, which exited in the first round, having finished third in group B. The midfielder's ambition is to play in as many countries as possible, thus acquiring a lot of experience in both football culture as well as life.

Sadly it came to the attention of many Ghanaian soccer enthusiasts in 2005 that Emmanuel Osei had been using an excessive amount of bleaching cream on his face in an ill-conceived attempt to lighten his complexion, possibly to better fit in with his white colleagues. His misuse of this substance has left his face permanently disfigured by unsightly blotches. Unfortunately this practice is somewhat common in parts of West Africa and has had some very damaging physical and psychological effects for many.
