Marko Dević (Serbian Cyrillic: Марко Девић; born October 27 1983 in Belgrade, Serbia) is a Ukrainian footballer of Serbian descent currently playing for Metalist Kharkiv as an attacking midfielder.

Career

Marko Dević started his career in his city of birth, Belgrade. His first club was FK Zvezdara. He later played for FK Železničar Beograd, FK Radnički Jugopetrol, FK Voždovac, all in Serbia.

Ukraine

In 2004, Dević was bought by Ukrainian First League club Volyn Lutsk. Later, in 2006, he was bought by Vyscha Liha club Metalist Kharkiv. In the 2007-08 season, he was top scorer of the Ukrainian Premier League with 19 goals in 27 matches played.

International

Dević tried to get on the Serbia national football team, but he was not accepted. In June 2008 he became a Ukrainian citizen in hopes of playing for the Ukraine national football team.
