- J-PARC
J-PARC (Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex) is a high intensity
proton accelerator facility. It is a joint project betweenKEK and JAEA and is located at the Tokai campus of JAEA.J-PARC aims for the frontier in materials and
life sciences , and nuclear andparticle physics . High intensityproton beams leads to high intensity secondary beam, e.g.,neutron ,meson ,neutrino beam.J-PARC includes three main parts: Linac (400 MeV for RCS injection, 600 MeV for ADS (the accelerator-driven nuclear waste transmutation system), RCS (Rapid Cycling Synchrontron, 3GeV), and MR (Main Ring, 50 GeV).
