Doumergue's Fringe-fingered Lizard (Acanthodactylus spinicauda) is a species of lizard in the Lacertidae family. It is found in Algeria and possibly Morocco. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and hot deserts. When it enters breeding, it emits a high pitch squealing noise, which warns off other predators. this noise is made when it sucks air through pores in is abdomen and compresses the air out of its anal passageway. this is done several times, and leaves the animal tired and grumpy.
