Against All Odds is the 96th story of The Hardy Boys casefiles series.The story involves the dangerous plot around 'Against All Odds', the famous steeplechase racing horse. A sinister person has thrust a nail into the horse's body before the last race preceding his retirement. When Against All Odds' owner auctions him, somebody sets fire to the barn in which the horse is kept, steals the actual horse and replaces it with another. When Frank and Joe Hardy are called upon to investigate, someone intentionally hits Frank and Joe's van and fires some shots at them. In the end, this story proves to be as exciting and thrilling as its forerunners.
