Jack 'Dookie' McKenzie (born 12 November 1882) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon and Melbourne in the VFL.

McKenzie joined Essendon in 1901 and spent two seasons in the VFL. He then moved to Western Australia and spent a year with Goldfield's club White Feather. In 1904 he returned to Essendon and by 1906 he was club captain. For his efforts during the 1906 season he was named Champion of the Colony and Essendon's 'Best and Fairest' award winner.

In 1907 season he left Essendon permanently and became captain-coach of Essendon Association in the VFA before accepting the same offer at Brunswick in 1908. He led the club to a premiership the following season in 1909.

He returned to the VFL in 1915, this time with Melbourne. As captain-coach he helped them reach the finals for the first time in fifteen years.
