Victor McDade is a fictional character from the BBC Scotland sitcom, "Still Game". The character previously appeared in the sketch show, "Chewin' the Fat"; both incarnations have been played by comedian Greg Hemphill.

His wife, Betty died and his son John moved to Johannesburg with his family, leaving Victor alone in Craiglang. Victor misses his son and often when he is meant to visit, something comes up, in "Aff" Victor feigns illness to worry John but this backfires when John flies to Scotland to check on him. Discoverin this to be a hoax, Victor and John have a father to son chat and John decides to bring his family over to visit. In "Who's the Daddy" it is also revealed he had a relationship with Jenny Turnbull when he was young, who incidentally had relationships with Jack, Winston and Pete the Jakey (before he was homeless) leading to confusion over who was the father of her son.

Victor's main source of company is his best friend Jack Jarvis who he met when he ran into Jack's Father's shop in order to get help for Frank McCallum, a young boy who was ran over by a tram. Jack and Victor have been friends for 60 years since. Victor also enjoys a drink in the local pub Jenny's (previously known as the Clansman) where he socialises with his other friends, Winston Ingram, Tam Mullen, Eric and Shug. He also enjoys winding Boabby the barman up with Jack. He is also good friends with Navid, the owner of the local grocers, looking after the shop with Jack while Navid went to his brother's funeral in India. He also likes betting on horses at the local bookies.

Victor lives in Ospery Heights, sharing a landing with Jack, and the local gossip, Isa Drennen. He moved into Ospery Heights in the 70s with his wife, he used to live in a house next to Archie, another one of his friends (played by Sylvester McCoy). That house has since been knocked down.
