Wood Green School (established 1953 as a comprehensive school) is a secondary school located in Oxfordshire (Oxon), England which serves the town of Witney and surrounding villages such as North Leigh, Hailey and Finstock. Academics

Catering for ages 11-18, the school hosts approximately 1200 students (of which just over 200 are in the VI form (16-18)) each year. The school recently completed the building of a new VI form, Dining Canteen and drama studio. The school is a specialist visual and performing Arts College. The school now has Microsoft partnership status. The school reached the national final of the mock trial competition in 2003, came second in 2004 and won it in 2005. The head teacher is Miss C. J. Savage.

ixth Form

In early 2006, they completed the build of their new Sixth Form centre and restaurant, in what is now a modern building, with the VI centre located upstairs. The school is currently in the process of developing a new textiles room as well as a music recording studio, and are working on having interactive white-boards or projectors in every classroom. The VI form average 3 B's for the 3 A-Levels they take. Mrs. Whiting as their new Head of VI form, will they the school to better grades than they would have imagined.

In 2007, 70% of students achieved 5 GCSEs grades A*-C, making Wood Green the third most successful secondary school in Oxfordshire.
