The Argus (Thunder Bay)

"The Argus" is the student newspaper from Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

The paper is funded by the Lakehead University Student Union and advertising sales, conducted by the newspaper staff, with roughly half of the budget coming from each. In the past, the Argus has attempted to secure funding through a referendum question but has failed.

Editorial control of the newspaper rests with a staff of 12 editors and managers, separate from the student union.

The Argus is a member of the Canadian University Press (CUP), and CUP's national advertising agency, Campus Plus.
