Pamela Paul

Pamela Paul is an American journalist and the author of three books, "The Starter Marriage and the Future of Matrimony" (2002), "Pornified: How Pornography Is Transforming Our Lives, Our Relationships and our Families" (2005), and "Parenting, Inc.: How We Are Sold on $800 Strollers, Fetal Education, Baby Sign Language, Sleeping Coaches, Toddler Couture, and Diaper Wipe Warmers -- And What It Means for Our Children" (2008).

She is a contributor to "Time Magazine", regularly writes for the "New York Times" Book Review, worked as senior editor at the erstwhile "American Demographics" magazine, is a former contributor to "The Economist", and has written for many other publications.

After the publication of "Pornified," she testified on the subject of pornography before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
