Wyvern Technology College is a senior school for children aged 11-16 years old, located in Fair Oak, Eastleigh, southern Hampshire, England. The school's logo is a red wyvern.

The college has over 1320 students, 85 teaching staff and over 70 support staff.

The Headteacher is currently Alan Newton. The Deputy Headteachers are Mr S.Jones, Ms N. Fisher and Mr I. Coombs.

Wyvern works with other colleges such as Barton Peveril College and Eastleigh College by sending pupils there to attend special classes such as Critical Thinking and Japanese. This is normally chosen as an option by students in Year 10, who opt for these instead of other in-school subjects.

The school is a part of the Pyramid chain of schools which consists of Stoke Park Infant School, Stoke Park Junior School, Fair Oak Infant School, and Fair Oak Junior School.

pecialist Status

Wyvern holds dual Specialist Technology College and Humanities College status.fact|date=August 2008 Thanks to this, the school is equipped with the latest in interactive teaching, including interactive whiteboards, and new computers in most areas of the school, loaded with various professional programs used in many subjects.

Facilities

Wyvern Technology College updates its facilities regularly. The toilets have been improved and fitted with smoke detectors to ensure that the new smoking ban is enforced. The Sports Hall, MUGA (Multi Purpose Games Area) and "Activate" (which holds a Gym and Weights room and a Dance Studio) are new additions to the Wyvern Campus. Wyvern also has an extensive library, which is useful for students for research purposes, as there are a range of computers as well as books. In Summer 2007, the Modern Foreign Languages Department underwent a refurbishment project, which turned out with the greatest of successes.
