Career

Radio 1

I'Anson was a presenter on Radio 1 from 1995 until 1999. She hosted a weekday daytime show until 1999, after which she moved to present at the weekends. [cite web | url=http://www.rdfmanagement.com/clients/lisa_ianson.html | title=RDF Management - Lisa I'Anson | accessdate=2007-12-29]

In August 1998 I'Anson travelled with Radio 1 to Ibiza for a series of live broadcasts. One morning I'Anson failed to turn up to present her show. I'Anson was forced to apologise to Radio 1 staff and was warned by bosses that she would be sacked if it happened again.cite web | title = Radio 1's Lisa I'Anson gets a dressing down

] On one, now infamous, occasion I'Anson claimed she had attended a Mark Morrison gig which she described as "wicked", however the gig had actually been cancelled at short notice making her description seem quite odd.

It was reported that the incident in Ibiza, falling listening figures and poor shows lead to her dismissal from the station in February 1999. According to Cox, when asked if she was in trouble, I'Anson replied "What are they going to do, fire me?"

After Radio 1
