Jamia Ashrafia

Jamia Ashrafia (Ashrafia Islamic University), Lahore, Pakistan, is a religious educational institution founded by Imam Mufti Muhammad Hasan (R.A.) in 1950s. Presently his sons Imam Mufti Muhammad Ubaidullah, Maulana Abd-ur-Rahman Ashrafi, Maulana Fazl-ur-Raheem and his (Mufti Hasan's) grandson Maulana Hafiz Arshad Ubaid manage the university matters. This university has produced numerous renowned Islamic scholars and various celebrated scholars have served this university as teachers.
