Gaylord "Pete" Stinchcomb (born
June 24, 1895) was an American footballplayer. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Famein 1973. Stinchcomb played several years of professional football. He played two years for George Halas's Chicago Bears(1921-1922) and also played some for the Columbus Tigers(1923), the Cleveland Indians (1923), and the Louisville Colonels (1926).
