The Burnley Express is a newspaper for the town of Burnley, England and its local area. The paper is printed twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) with the Friday paper being larger. The paper has been in print since 1877 [ [http://www.burnleyexpress.net/newspaper.aspx Burnley Express: News, Sport, Jobs, Property, Cars, Entertainments & More ] ] and is now part of the Johnston Press group of papers. The Padiham Express is a a variant of the Burnley Express - with the first few pages being specific to Padiham. Most of the paper's content is also published online on the paper's website.

Readership
