Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales

"Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales" is an animated Christmas television special featuring Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters, in three newly-created cartoon shorts with seasonal themes.

The special originally aired on CBS on November 27, 1979.

Censorship

*When "Fright Before Christmas" was shown as a separate cartoon short on ABC, the part where Bugs is reading off his nephew's list to Taz (dressed as Santa) was shortened because it showed Taz eating glass Christmas tree bulbs and a string of Christmas tree lights (which electrify him).

Availability

It is available as all TV specials are on VHS, but this television special was released on the "" DVD along with "Bugs Bunny's Bustin' Out All Over" and "Bugs and Daffy's Carnival of the Animals".
