The Asian Figure Skating Championships ("Asian Championships " or "Asian Trophy") is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the Asian Skating Union in which Asian figure skaters compete for the title of Asian Champion. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles and ladies singles across three levels: novice, junior, and senior.
ASU, decided upon the ASU meeting in Changchun, China during the 6th Asian Winter Games 2007, had revised the name of the competition to Asian Figure Skating Trophy and this was approved by ISU.
The 2007 event took place from July 20 through July 22 in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei.
