A registrar is an official keeper of records, and may refer to:

In education:
* Registrar (academic), an official who handles student records

In civil government:
* Registrar General, responsible for the registration of births, deaths and marriages in England and Wales
* Registrar General of Canada, responsible for registering all documents issued under the Great Seal of Canada
* Registrar of Companies, for England, Wales & Scotland, deals with all document filings relating to the 1985 Companies Act
* Recorder of deeds, the government office tasked with maintaining a record of real estate ownership

In church government:
* Registrar (Church of England), an official serving on either the Consistory Court or the Chancery Court

In medicine:
* Specialist registrar, a medical doctor in the UK receiving advanced training in a specialist field
* Specialty Registrar (StR), new training grade intended to replace Specialist registrar

In computing:
* Domain name registrar, a company authorized to register Internet domain names
* Drop registrar, a domain name registrar who registers expiring Internet domain names
* Pool Registrar, in Reliable Server Pooling
* SIP registrar, in the Session Initiation Protocol

In museums:
* Registrar (museum), a museum professional who keeps permanent and loan collection records and oversees risk management for all museum collections.
