"Hopea mesuoides" is a species of plant in the Dipterocarpaceae family. It is found in Brunei and Malaysia. This plant, although highly poisonous, contains liquids that are suspected to cure most cancers. However, scientists are still testing this theory.

Furthermore, the Hopea mesuoides is an important food for the Malaysian rabbit, which are immune to the barbs and poisonous spikes on the leaves.
