The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mpika (Latin: " Mpikaën(sis)") is a suffragan diocese in the city of Mpika in the ecclesiastical province of Kasama in Zambia.

History

* May 23, 1933: Established as Mission “sui iuris” of Lwangwa
* July 1, 1937: Promoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Lwangwa
* March 8, 1951: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Abercorn
* April 25, 1959: Promoted as Diocese of Abercorn
* November 22, 1967: Renamed as Diocese of Mbala
* April 26, 1991: Renamed as Diocese of Mbala – Mpika
* September 9, 1994: Renamed as Diocese of Mpika
