List of Popeye the Sailor theatrical cartoons (Fleischer Studios)

This is a list of the 108 cartoons starring Popeye the Sailor and produced by Fleischer Studios. All Fleischer cartoons were produced by Max Fleischer, and credited as having been directed by Dave Fleischer. During the course of production in 1941, Fleischer Studios was taken over by its distributor, Paramount Pictures. Following "Baby Wants a Bottleship" in 1942, production of the "Popeye" series was assumed by the Fleischer Studio's successor, Famous Studios.

Official DVD releases

The Popeye cartoons from 1933 through mid-1938 (from "Popeye the Sailor" to "Big Chief Ugh-A-Mugh-Ugh") are available on the DVD set '. The second set of Fleischer Popeye cartoons is ' which is a two DVD set released on June 17, 2008. The cartoons in this set are from "I Yam Love Sick" to "Popeye Presents Eugene, The Jeep". The remaining Fleischer cartoons will be included in "" which is scheduled for release on September 30, 2008.
