The Thomas Paine Cottage in New Rochelle, New York, was the home of Thomas Paine, author of "Common Sense" and Revolutionary War hero. It was built in 1793 after a fire destroyed the previous home.

The house is a two-story wood frame saltbox structure. An exterior door and porch pillars added in about 1830 are in a Greek Revival style. The cottage was originally located at 120 Paine Avenue. The cottage was moved to its current location at 20 Sicard Avenue, on land that was also part of the convert|300|acre|km2|sing=on farm owned by Paine, in 1908.

The house is a National Historic Landmark and is currently operated as a museum. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1972.cite web|url=http://tps.cr.nps.gov/nhl/detail.cfm?ResourceId=1255&ResourceType=Building|title=Thomas Paine Cottage|date=2007-09-11|work=National Historic Landmark summary listing|publisher=National Park Service] citation|title=PDFlink| [http://pdfhost.focus.nps.gov/docs/NHLS/Text/72000920.pdf National Register of Historic Places Inventory-Nomination: Thomas Paine Cottage] |311 KB|author=Charles W.
