Merveille Lukeba (born 30 March 1990) is a Congo born, British actor, best known for his role as Thomas Tomone in double BAFTA-winning E4 teen drama Skins.

Born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo,[1] he was raised in Woolwich, southeast London.

He can speak fluent French and Lingala.[2]

Career

His on-screen debut came in 2006 as Sierra Leonian child soldier Moses in the FESPACO Grand Prize winning film Ezra. His first television appearance came in 2007 as Tre Douglasas in ITV series The Bill.

He is played the role of Thomas, a Congolese immigrant to the United Kingdom, in series 3 and 4 of the UK teen drama Skins. He may also reprise his role later for the Skins movie, but has not yet been confirmed.

He has appeared in numerous commercials, notably for Ford Mondeo, Trident and UEFA.

He appeared, in character, on the front cover of The New York Sun in February 2008.

Appeared in one of Sky1's '10 Minute Tales' short films in late 2009. 'Perfect Day', Alongside Fish Tank star Katie Jarvis, directed by Jeremy Brock.

He is good friends with West Ham United footballer, Junior Stanislas, as they attended the same secondary school as well as being in the same year.

He supports Manchester United.
