Reel Fishing

"Reel Fishing", and its sequels "Reel Fishing II" and "Reel Fishing III" are video games for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 published by Natsume in its line of fishing games.

The Series

There are three games in the series, the first of which achieved "greatest hits" status. "Reel Fishing" (released in 1997) [ [http://www.us.playstation.com/PSone/Games/Reel_Fishing Reel Fishing] ] and "Reel Fishing II" (released in 2000) [ [http://www.us.playstation.com/PSone/Games/Reel_Fishing_2 Reel Fishing 2] ] were followed by "Reel Fishing III" in 2003, [ [http://www.us.playstation.com/PS2/Games/Reel_Fishing_3 Reel Fishing 3] ] the last console fishing game of this series. A special fishing reel controller was released with the first game that is also compatible with the sequels. In 2006, Natsume released ' [ [http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP/Games/Reel_Fishing_Life_and_Nature Reel Fishing: Life & Nature] ] and ' for the handheld PlayStation Portable. [ [http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/psp/data/933943.html Reel Fishing: The Great Outdoors] ] "Reel Fishing: Life & Nature" was also planned for the DS, but cancelled.
