List of indie game developers

List of indie game developers

This is a partial list of independent game developers, video game developers that are not supported by a publisher. They are usually self-funded small teams that operate over the Internet. They can retain creative control over the games that they make because they need not answer to an outside funder. Their games are then self-published over the Internet or, at times, sold to a publisher once it is completed.

This list is "not" complete. Only developers covered elsewhere in Wikipedia are listed here, and only some of their games are listed. There are hundreds of other indie developers.
