2000 United States Figure Skating Championships

The U.S. Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition organzied by the United States Figure Skating Association. In addition to determining the national champions, the event was used to determine the U.S. teams for the 2000 World Figure Skating Championships, 2000 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, and the 2000 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. Skaters competed in three levels: Senior, Junior, and Novice. Medals were awarded in four disciplines: Ladies singles, Men's singles, Pairs, and Ice dance. Medals were given out in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth).

The 2000 Championships took place between February 6 and February 13, 2000 at in Cleveland, Ohio. They were the first Nationals ever to not have compulsory figures being competed. The event was held at the Gund Arena
