This list of tallest buildings in Toronto ranks skyscrapers in the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario by height. The tallest structure in Toronto is the CN Tower, which rises 553 metres (1,815 ft).cite web|url=http://www.cntower.ca/portal/GetPage.aspx?at=848|title=CN Tower web site|accessdate=2007-09-26] The CN Tower was the tallest free-standing structure on land from 1975 until 2007, and remains the world's tallest completed free-standing structure on land. But, it is not generally considered a high-rise building as it does not have successive floors that can be occupied. The tallest habitable building in the city is First Canadian Place, which rises 298 metres (978 ft) tall in Toronto's Financial District and was completed in 1975. It also stands as the tallest building in Canada. Scotia Plaza is the second-tallest building in the city and the country.

The history of skyscrapers in Toronto began in 1894 with the construction of the Beard Building, which is often regarded as the first skyscraper in the city. Toronto went through an early building boom in the late 1920s and early 1930s, during which several high-rise buildings were constructed. The city experienced a second, much larger building boom that lasted from the late 1960s to early 1990s, during which time it saw the construction of 14 skyscrapers, including First Canadian Place. Overall, Toronto is the site of 14 skyscrapers that rise at least 150 metres (492 ft) in height, and has a total of 1,718 high-rises.cite web|accessdate=2008-03-04|url=http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/ci/bu/sk/?id=100993|title=High-rise Buildings of Toronto |publisher=Emporis ]

The most recently completed skyscraper in the city is the Residences of College Park, which was constructed in 2006 and rises 154 metres (505 ft). The tallest building approved for construction in the city is the Trump International Hotel and Tower, which would become the second-tallest building and third-tallest structure in Toronto upon completion its in 2010. The building is planned to rise 280 metres (920 ft).cite web|url=http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=trumpinternationalhoteltower-toronto-canada|title=Trump International Hotel and Tower|publisher=Emporis|accessdate=2006-11-22] As of March 2008, there are 440 high-rise buildings under construction, proposed for construction, or approved for construction in the city.
