Midwest University is a private four-year Christian university and seminary college located in Wentzville, Missouri. It was founded in 1986 by Dr. James Song. Midwest offers degrees in Social Work (DSW), Theology, and Intercultural Studies.

With the main campus is located in the St. Louis metropolitan area in city of Wentzville, Missouri, the University offers residential education, intensive seminars in national and international locations, and e-learning / distance education opportunities.

The university is an Evangelically conservative, private, non-profit, international institution of higher learning whose mission is to equip men and women to apply Biblically based classroom learning to their ministries.

Midwest offers degree options from the Schools of Church Music, Intercultural Studies, International Languages, Social Work, and Theology. Although it is currently accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), according to the school's website, on April 13, 2010 the TRACS Accreditation Commission required Midwest University to Show Cause why its accreditation should not be revoked.
