The French Canon de 155 C modèle 1917 is a 155 millimeter howitzer used by the French Army during the first half of the 20th century. It was manufactured by Schneider et Cie.

US service

USA adopted the gun as 155 mm Howitzer Carriage, Model of 1918 (Schneider). Model 1918 built in the US differed slightly from French models, with a straight rather than curved shield, rubber rather than steel tyres on wheels, slightly different firing mechanism.
